After Cleos tail amputation last Thursday we also saw an enucleation – eye removal, busy & interesting day for us
Captain Morgan (as we named him) was found in Parrow on the streets – oh what a sweet boy he is 🖤🤍🖤

The eye was blown probably from snuffles as a baby & he had no sight in it at all.
Full removal not only makes him comfortable but there’ll be no infection risks later in life. As to his vision – he’s already so used to being a pirate kitty that he’s Purrfectly fine with 1 eye
Auntie Claire got to play recovery nurse & to ensure he didn’t pull the covering off upon waking up. He kept the cone on for all of a few minutes, put back on numerous times till it was decided he ‘went for the bandage’ less without it 😹🙈😹
After eating & drinking he settled down to a good long nap before going off to his foster home & no more pain.
